Our background

AI COP was founded on a simple observation: the pace of AI adoption had outrun the ability of most organizations — and most regulators — to govern it responsibly. As federal agencies and international bodies moved from guidance to enforcement, and as companies wrote AI usage policies faster than they could verify anyone was following them, it became clear that the industry needed more than good intentions. It needed guardrails that actually work — built into the infrastructure, not bolted on after the fact.

That's the problem we set out to solve. AI COP exists to help organizations implement policy-driven guardrails that translate federal regulatory requirements and corporate AI policy into enforceable, auditable controls — so that every model interaction, every tool call, and every agent action stays within the bounds an organization has actually defined. Our focus isn't compliance for its own sake; it's making sure AI systems can be deployed for real operations without trading away security, safety, or control to get there.

We're a team built for this moment — operators and advisors who understand both the regulatory landscape AI companies now navigate and the practical realities of running AI systems in production. As the guardrails market itself grows into a multi-billion-dollar category, we're focused on staying ahead of where the regulations and the risks are heading next, not just where they are today.
